About the Finance Officer role: Analysing and interpreting statistical reports Stakeholder engagement – internal and external Managing quality assurance activities Preparing a range of written material including business cases, reports, and corporate documentation, across the division's cost centres and projects, including budgets, monitoring, forecasting and accruals. Undertaking quality assurance of feasibility and cost estimates, assumptions, and justifications. Undertaking detailed financial analysis of performance to budget. About you: Degree qualified in accounting and finance with membership of a recognised professional accounting body. Demonstrated experience in financial accounting roles. Experience working in Federal or Commonwealth government environments. Stakeholder engagement skills Strong system skills, preferably but not limited to SAP and Excel About the Assistant Director role: Providing technical accounting advice and briefing to the Agency Reviewing and managing components of the Agency's trial balance using SAP Monthly and annual reporting to the Department of Finance. Preparation of the Agency's financial statements Liaising with the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) in relation to audit matters. Delivering month-end financial reporting and analysis. Stakeholder engagement – internal and external Developing and presenting a range of written material of a financial and business nature, including correspondence, briefs and reports. About you: CA or CPA qualified with experience including senior finance leadership roles. Experience working in Federal or Commonwealth government environments. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, Stakeholder engagement skills Demonstrated ability to engage in complex problem solving and decision making.
