About The Role
Pindara Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our dedicated Cardiac Medical Ward team. In this leadership role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting and guiding your team under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a clinical resource and role model in the delivery of cardiac nursing care.
* Supervise and support staff, delegating care appropriately based on skill mix.
* Lead shifts on afternoons and weekends and relieve the Nurse Unit Manager when required.
* Contribute to audits, assessments, and quality initiatives in line with Australian Standards of Care.
* Collaborate with medical practitioners and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Essential Skills And Experience
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* Minimum two years of experience in cardiac or critical care nursing.
* Proven experience as in-charge of shift.
* Strong clinical decision-making, organisational, and time management skills.
* Postgraduate qualifications in critical care or cardiovascular nursing are desirable.

Remuneration
Base hourly rate of $54.72 – $58.82 plus superannuation, dependent on experience and qualifications (exclusive of penalties or allowances).

Requirements
* Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
