We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Specialist to drive the development and support of technical components in 3rd party applications.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to application integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications to meet business requirements.
 * Enhancement and Support: Enhance existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support to ensure seamless application performance.
 * Alert Response: Respond promptly to alerts raised by application monitoring, investigate, and resolve issues efficiently.
 * Incident Management: Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident management, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
 * Process Improvement: Proactively review processes to identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to prevent issues from affecting deliverables.
 * Technical Assistance: Provide expert technical assistance to business teams, addressing general application queries and resolving functional area-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
 * Programming Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, C# (Model-View-Controller or similar pattern), JSON, and Object-oriented programming concepts.
 * Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2017 (or later version), including TSQL, stored procedures/views, database schema, indexing, and performance optimization.
 * .NET Core: Experience with .NET Core 3.1 or later version (latest is .NET 8.x).
 * Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems.
 * Internet Information Services (IIS): Understanding of IIS and its configuration.
