The Position
Al-Ameen College seeks to appoint a strategic and operational leader to the position of Business Manager. This executive role reporting to the College Principal and Board, is primarily responsible for the overseeing and management of the school's Business Operations and services including Human Resources, Finance, ICT, Administration and Facilities.
They will also support the College Principal and Board in Governance, Risk and Compliance, infrastructure development, and contract management.
The Business Manager will work collaboratively with the College Principal to help the school realise its vision and strategic plan ensuring that it is done with a focus on integrity and sustainability and by actively supporting the development of a positive, respectful and inclusive organisational culture.
The role requires the expert leadership of teams, finance, human and business operations in a culture of growth to ensure the continuing success of the College. The position therefore requires a leader who demonstrates the College's values of excellence, respect, integrity and compassion in all that they do and will embrace a culture where individual differences are appreciated and celebrated and where strengths are acknowledged and nurtured.
Essential Criteria
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within a school or comparable organisation
* Strong financial and business acumen
* Experience or capacity to develop the necessary skills in HR, facilities and contract management.
* Prior experience in education, or not for profit sector
* Valid Working with Children's Check and Police Record Check
