Digital Solutions Consultant – Woolpert – Perth, WA
Woolpert, a global leader in Architecture, Engineering, and Geospatial services, invites applications for the Digital Solutions Consultant role. This position is based in Perth, WA, but offers the opportunity to work from Woolpert offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, or via flexible arrangements.
Job Overview
As a Digital Solutions Consultant, you will consult with Woolpert clients on site or from the office, leading the delivery and deployment of high‑quality, cost‑effective digital solutions. You will work within the Digital Delivery Team, collaborating across functional areas to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery for our customers.
Responsibilities
* Perform deployment, configuration, and support of the VertiGIS suite of products (Geocortex/VertiGIS Studio).
* Configure and support ESRI server and desktop products & applications, providing consulting expertise.
* Conduct application testing and quality assurance on a project‑by‑project basis.
* Lead performance tuning, usability testing, and automation initiatives.
* Provide server/network administration, troubleshooting, and system oversight.
* Travel as required to client sites.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in computing science, software engineering, or geomatics sciences.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in GIS or spatial commercial roles.
* Minimum 3 years of experience with database and cloud services.
* Proficiency with at least one ESRI technology: ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro Desktop, ArcGIS Online.
* Self‑sufficient, independent, and able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Substantial experience in enterprise IT environments, especially Windows Server and Microsoft IIS.
* Solid understanding of web service technologies and Web GIS.
