We're looking for a proactive and organised Senior Business Support Officer to help drive operational excellence across our team. In this key role, you'll ensure the smooth running of day‐to‐day activities, coordinate work effectively, and provide support, coaching and feedback to officers when needed. You'll be the go‐to person for keeping things on track, identifying opportunities to improve how we work, and helping the team deliver at its best.

Provide support across the Planning & Building branch. Permanent, full‐time. $87,550 + 12% Superannuation.

You know how to keep operations running smoothly, and you're confident coordinating work, supporting others, and spotting opportunities to improve how things get done. You're approachable, proactive, and always ready to lend a hand or offer guidance when it's needed most.
What Your Experience Might Look Like
* Well‐developed communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and make recommendations.
* Well‐developed organisational skills and the ability to work in a semi‐autonomous environment and coordinate resources to meet operational demand.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite; in particular Word, Excel & Outlook and proven ability in utilising in‐house databases and systems to manage work.
Desirable
* Local Government experience including Knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act.
* Demonstrated competency in Pathway, Salesforce, Technology One and Hummingbird Document Management systems.
