Navantia Australia is a leading company in the Maritime and Defence industry. Navantia Australia has been awarded the Designer Support Contract to provide comprehensive design and engineering support to Navantia-designed ships in service with the Royal Australian Navy. This contract marks a milestone as the company's first contract held directly with the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA).
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager - Contractor's Standing Capability (CSC) to join the team at Garden Island, Sydney and Darling Park. The CSC Manager operates under the Design Support Contractor (DSC) contract and is responsible for the Contractor's Standing Capability (CSC) activities in accordance with the DSC contract.
Position details
Base pay range: A$130,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr
Location: Garden Island, Sydney and Darling Park, Sydney

Responsibilities
* Manage the CSC Joint Workshop
* Manage and maintain the CSC Master Schedule
* Support Work and Resource Planning for the CSC area
* Coordinate programmatic delivery of Program Engineering services assigned to the applicable Asset Class
* Enterprise Stakeholder Management
* Support Contract Reporting and Reviews
* Develop and maintain CSC Task Plans and Task Schedules
* Manage CSC Schedule at aggregate program level
* Manage DEC tasking under the AEWL and FYEWL for CSC
* Work and Resource Planning including support to ACEN Work Conference
* Provide support and oversight to Program Reporting and Reviews of engineering activities (CSR, CSSR, AEWR, Contract Performance Review, Combined Services Performance Review, PAR)
* Support Resource Planning collaboratively with ACE organisations and promote relationships with ACE partners
* Apply governance, processes and standards ensuring compliance with PMO principles
* Promote engagement of Australian Industry in DSC task delivery
* Support the Quality Manager in DSC operation compliance with approved plans, processes and policies
* Support Continuous Improvement initiatives
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years in a Project Management role
* Proven experience delivering complex engineering programs
* Experience delivering Commonwealth and Australian Defence Force projects (Desirable)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in a diverse environment
* Resilient, adaptable and able to make informed decisions and take initiative
* Diplomatic and professional in managing situations and bringing people together
* Knowledge of ASDEFCON contracts (Highly Desirable)
* Flexible and effective in changing priorities in a time-constrained environment
