This is a unique opportunity to work in the electrical trade, specifically across multiple disciplines including Commercial, Industrial, Maintenance and Fault Finding.
Main Responsibilities:
* Install and service structured, fibre & coaxial cabling systems.
* Design and troubleshoot networking layouts (e.g., network switches, VLANs, wireless access points, patch panels).
* Install and commission CCTV systems.
* Install and commission security alarms and access control systems.
* Troubleshoot computing issues and interpret electrical schematics and controls.
* Collaborate with builders, foremen, and project managers; work in a team or independently; adapt to changing schedules.
* Train apprentices and uphold high quality workmanship and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experienced knowledge installing Structured, Fibre & Coaxial Cabling Systems
* Advanced knowledge in Networking Layout, Scheduling & Equipment Design
* Experience in CCTV Install & Commissioning
* Exposure to Security Alarm/Access Control Install & Commissioning
* Intermediate/Advanced Computing troubleshooting skills
* Cablers License
* Contractor's License
* Certificate 3 in Technical Security
* Relevant trade qualification
* A current NSW Driving Licence
* Current WHS white card
* Able to interpret electrical schematics and controls
* Extensive knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018, AS/NZS 3008.1.2:2017, AS/NZS 3017:2007, AS/CA S009:2020
* Ability to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works
* Proven ability to work within a team and independently
* Ability to adapt to changing work environment and scheduling
* Takes pride in delivering high-quality work
* Willingness to train apprentices
