What you’ll do
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Kayak Guide to join our team in this casual role. As a Guide, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests have a secure, educational, and memorable adventure while exploring the stunning landscapes of Freycinet National Park.
We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for Tasmania’s remote, wild places.
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience and skills in conducting kayak adventure tours
- Possess sound knowledge of risk management practices
- A reputation for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experience
- A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Possession of a current Workplace 2 First Aid certificate / equivalent
- Possession of a current manual Motor Vehicle Drivers license
- Knowledge of Tasmania’s natural and cultural history or ability to learn
- Problem solving skills including the ability to apply mathematical skills in a workplace context
- Possession of a current Tasmanian Work With Vulnerable People Card
- Qualification in Enclosed Sea Kayak Certification or A Sea Guide Certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
