Technical Writer (6 Months)
Location: Brisbane (Hybrid). Must be based in Brisbane with full Australian working rights. Contract: 6 Months. Immediate Start.
We're seeking an experienced
Technical Writer
to join a dynamic project team delivering a new enterprise-wide
Knowledge Hub
for a leading financial services organisation.
In this role, you'll work closely with both
Technology and Business teams
to develop, edit, and maintain high-quality technical and operational documentation. You'll play a key role in organising existing content, creating new templates and workflows, and ensuring information is accurate, consistent, and easy to navigate within
Confluence
and related tools.
What you'll be doing:
Consolidate and structure existing technical documentation
Develop and maintain document templates and standards
Collaborate with SMEs to ensure clarity and accuracy
Review and edit content for quality, tone, and relevance
Provide guidance on authoring best practices
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a
Technical Writer
in a technology-focused environment
Strong
Confluence
and
Atlassian suite
experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, usable content
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously
Familiarity with
Google Workspace
and documentation governance
