This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance and Projects Supervisor to join our team in the nickel mining industry. As a key member of our hardworking, proactive and committed team, you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of maintenance projects and shutdowns within safety, timing and budget parameters.

About the Role:
* Safety Protocols: Ensure site safety protocols and standards are applied across all work undertaken;
* Maintenance Project Coordination: Coordinate maintenance projects and shutdown activities across all areas of the plant, including all internal and external labour requirements;
* Budget Management: Develop and manage relevant budgets;
* Constructability Reviews: Support your team with constructability reviews during design processes;
* Contract Development: Assist in the development of appropriate contracts for implementation of design and construction works;
* Communication: Provide clear communication, information and input to team during the project lifecycle process;
* Customer Liaison: Liaise closely with operations customers to ensure that any maintenance project and shutdown execution plans are facilitated at plant level.
About You:
* Technical Competence: A relevant trade qualification in a Mechanical discipline is required;
* Leadership Experience: Demonstrated supervisory experience in the mechanical/construction fields is essential;
* Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to diagnose problems and implement prevention controls is necessary;
* Implementation and Execution Schedules: Able to develop, communicate and adhere to implementation and execution schedules;
* Computer Skills: Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation and spread sheet applications;
* Cost Management: Past experience in managing costs and budgeting is required;
* Legislative Knowledge: A high-level of understanding all relevant legislation relevant to role in the mining industry in WA is necessary.
