Hours: 32.5 hours per week across 9am – 4.15pm, Monday to Friday. This role may require you to cover planned and unplanned leave across other Westpac Group branches in the area; ability to travel and flexibility is essential.
Responsibilities
As a Personal Banking Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming customers to Westpac and engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs and provide them with tailored banking solutions. You will use your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – both in‐person and over the phone – and refer them to our specialised banking teams when necessary. The role is rewarding and sees your dedication and expertise empower customers to make the most of their money each day.
Qualifications
* Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer‐facing or phone‐based role with a track record of working to targets
* Resilience and the ability to remain calm and composed while managing challenging situations
* Comfortable working towards sales or referral targets and calling customers over the phone
* Numerical capability, with proficiency in cash handling and counting, and ability to complete financial transactions accurately
* An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people
* The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
