This role is available part-time or full-time.
What You'll Be Doing
Assess and treat speech, language, voice, and cognitive-communication disorders.
Develop personalised therapy plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life.
Support clients with cognitive-communication needs related to dementia, brain injury, and neurological conditions.
Evaluate swallowing function, diagnose dysphagia, and create safe mealtime and swallowing strategies.
Provide services to clients across metropolitan Adelaide and regional/remote SA, including Home Care recipients, NDIS participants (paediatric & adult), and residents in supported independent living.
Educate staff and carers on safe feeding techniques and dysphagia management.
Essentials
Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology
Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
National Police Clearance (within 2 years)
NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check
Valid SA driver's licence and willingness to travel in small aircraft for FIFO outreach
Current First Aid & CPR certification
