Sales Executive, APAC

Department: Sales

Reporting to: VP, APAC

Location: Melbourne or Sydney (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

Riskonnect is seeking a Sales Executive to drive new business across Australasia. This role is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of our Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions within a defined territory.

You will work closely with cross‐functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Client Services, Support, Professional Services, Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering. Partnering with a Sales Engineer, you will identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions that create strong, long‐term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

* Own end‐to‐end sales execution and achieve quarterly revenue targets
* Build and leverage relationships with C‐level stakeholders across Governance, Risk and Compliance, Risk Management, Information Security, IT, Compliance, and Internal Audit
* Develop and execute targeted account plans, including prospecting, stakeholder engagement, product demonstrations, and deal closure
* Lead complex sales cycles and contract negotiations
* Demonstrate strong SaaS sales expertise with a proven track record of success
* Maintain a high level of organisation across pipeline, activities, and opportunities
* Manage time and territory effectively, including 20 to 30 percent overnight travel

Skills And Experience

* Minimum 5 years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably within Governance, Risk, and Compliance, risk management, business continuity, or related industries
* Strong understanding of enterprise software sales with the ability to clearly articulate business value to stakeholders
* Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Skilled communicator and relationship builder with the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients
* Experience selling into Governance, Risk, and Compliance, IT, Risk, or similar functions is highly preferred
* Strong business acumen with a proactive, solutions‐oriented approach and the ability to build compelling business cases
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals effectively
* Highly organised with the ability to track activities, opportunities, and contacts in Salesforce daily
* Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, pipeline coverage, and forecasting
* Experience with enterprise sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger
* Proficiency with go‐to‐market tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
