General Manager - Disability - Vocational Services, Safety & Risk
General Manager – Vocational Services, Safety & Risk Full-time | Seven Hills, NSW | $160,000 – $170,000 per annum + super + salary packaging
This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape meaningful employment outcomes for people with disabilities while strengthening safety, quality, and risk management across a complex, purpose-led organisation.
Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Committee, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across vocational services, supported employment, training (RTO), and safety and risk. This role brings together functions that are critical to participant wellbeing, workforce safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring consistency, accountability, and strong governance.
About the role
* Lead the strategic design and operational oversight of vocational services, safety, and enterprise risk
* Oversee supported employment, employment services, RTO operations, and participant wellbeing supports
* Drive compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Quality & Safeguards, and WHS legislation
* Lead internal and external audits, incident oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Build a strong culture of safety, accountability, and quality across multi-site operations
* Manage senior leaders across vocational services, training, and safety functions
* Provide clear reporting on risk, safety, compliance, and performance to the CEO and Board
* Support workforce planning, capability building, and sustainable service delivery
About you
You are an experienced senior leader with a strong balance of operational rigour, people leadership, and governance expertise. You bring:
* Significant leadership experience in vocational services, employment services, disability, or human services
* Demonstrated expertise in WHS, safety systems, and enterprise risk management
* Strong working knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, audits, and regulatory environments
* Experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams through change
* A values-led, collaborative leadership style with high emotional intelligence
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, training, disability, or a related field
* Current driver's license and subject to relevant screening/probity checks
