About the Business - Coordinator General's Office The creation of the Coordinator General's Office is a key feature of the State Development Coordination and Facilitation Act, which recently passed Parliament.
The legislation aims to address challenges and delays in assessment and approval processes, while critically maintaining South Australia's high levels of statutory protection.
Overseen by the Coordinator General, the new mechanisms will help manage a growing number of urgent and significant projects, including those involving housing, decarbonisation, and AUKUS, in a timelier manner.

Role Details The Director, Infrastructure Coordination is an accomplished infrastructure leader overseeing the Coordinator General's Office (CGO) team responsible for infrastructure planning, coordination, engineering advisory, and development services.
This role focuses on enabling trunk infrastructure such as water, power, utilities and transport and driving other infrastructure requirements essential for major projects.
As Director, you will empower your team, colleagues, and partners to coordinate major and complex State and private sector projects aligned with the Government's economic, social, and environmental agenda and the State Development Coordination and Facilitation Act ****.
