What you can expect in a day in this role :
We are looking for a positive, confident, and passionate qualified Chef to join our team on a Casual Basis. Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and under the supervision of the Head Chef, you will be responsible for a variety of culinary tasks, including but not limited to :
* Food Preparation
* Assisting with cost management
* Upholding food health and safety compliance
* General cleaning and maintenance
* Assisting with inventory and ordering
What You will bring to the role :
Successful candidates will have a trade qualification (Cert III in Commercial Cookery) alongside :
* A passion for food, coupled with a dedication to providing exceptional service
* Previous experience in pub / bistro-style dining (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Enthusiasm and commitment
* The ability to work under pressure and multitask
* Reliability and flexibility, with a commitment to working a variety of shifts, including day, night, and weekend shifts.
