MineStar Site Manager 
at Caterpillar Inc. This is a Fly in Fly out role for a customer in Indonesia. The commencing roster is 2 weeks on site / 1 week off / 3 weeks remote from Caterpillar Australia offices. The roster is subject to change to meet operational requirements. The successful candidate must be able to meet the requirements for a KTAS Visa for Indonesia.

Responsibilities 
Leading a team of highly skilled site-based employees. 
Maintaining key site performance metrics including MineStar technology availability, production metrics, operating cost per tonne, MineStar fleet productivity and safety. 
Partnering with the MineStar for Underground Product Support team to report any suspected product defects, collect MineStar troubleshooting data, and define interim corrective actions. 
Developing the correct new products and services to meet the customer current and future needs at a job site. 
Developing, prioritizing, and implementing strategies to address customer needs as well as ensuring dealer servicing and support practices align with recovery strategy. 
Advising on strategic direction for proper equipment selection, product problem management, and equipment management activities. 
Qualifications 
University degree in Mining Engineering or related field 
Experience with CAT MineStar Technology an advantage 
Relevant experience in technology or mining fields 
Customer Focus skills: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. 
Consulting skills: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately. 
Effective Communication skills: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs. 
Problem Solving skills: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. 
Relationship Management skills: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
