Murray House Wentworth Aged Care is a community-owned, not-for-profit residential facility (up to 70 residents) delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive, home-like environment.
We're restructuring our clinical leadership model to strengthen governance and succession. With a dedicated Clinical Leadership Team and a new Governance, Quality & Risk Director role, you'll be well supported to succeed. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is perfect for a new DON ready to step up—or an experienced DON wanting to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team. We're also commencing several strategic projects, including a 15-bed expansion.
The Role
Lead clinical and operational excellence across all care services:
* Inspire and mentor nursing and care teams.
* Drive continuous improvement in quality, risk, and resident outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC, and legislation.
* Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategy, workforce, and accreditation readiness.
About You
* Current AHPRA RN registration.
* ~5+ years' post-registration experience in aged care with leadership exposure.
* Strong clinical governance, risk, and accreditation knowledge.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
* Postgrad in aged care/leadership/health management (desirable).
