Job Description
The focus of this role is to provide technical support for mine production.
Function
* Delivery of short-term schedules in alignment with direction provided by the Planning Department.
* Establishment of company procedures, standards and templates for the technical services department.
* Support operation through the delivery of safe and efficient Production plans (Drilling, charging, remote bogging).
* Assist with the implementation of infrastructure projects and required instructions.
* Assist the Mining Manager as required, support on a variety of tasks including technical work and statutory appointments as required.
* Ventilation Surveys, monitoring, and compliance.
* Regular Underground inspections.
* Underground Manager ticket coverage when required.
* Organising short-term/daily activities with onsite contractors and technical staff.
* Assisting with validating sections of the onsite contractor claim.
* Ensure compliance with WHS (Mining) 2022.
* Development and implementation of Safe Systems of Work.
* Managing and supporting raisebore and civil works contractors.
* Mentoring and developing Production Engineering Team.

Desired Skills and Experience
Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
* A tertiary degree in Mining Engineering
* Solid experience in mining engineering
* Deswik competency
* Production Experience
* Managing and developing teams
* Managing contractors
* Well-developed communication and literacy skills
* Ability to work autonomously with well-developed time management skills
* Business acumen gained within an operational mining environment
* Full knowledge of Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations
* Outstanding analytical skills
* WA based with experience of local area
* Highly skilled written and verbal communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skills
* Well-developed interpersonal skills
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work to deadlines
