Our client is expanding and looking to bring on a capable and experienced bookkeeping professional to support a growing portfolio of clients.

The Role
In this role, you’ll take ownership of a range of client accounts, ensuring their bookkeeping and payroll functions run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload while also contributing to process improvements and maintaining high standards across all work delivered.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple client accounts
* Handling payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
* Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS
* Completing month-end reporting and reconciliations
* Reviewing and checking financial data for accuracy
* Bringing client files up to date where required
* Acting as a reliable point of contact for client queries and support
* Identifying opportunities to improve workflows and systems
* Supporting clients in understanding and improving their financial processes
What We’re Looking For
* Solid experience (5+ years) in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role
* Relevant qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting
* Strong working knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB
* Confidence managing payroll, including more complex scenarios
* Good Excel skills
* Experience reviewing or overseeing the work of others
* A high level of attention to detail and strong organisational ability
* A proactive mindset with an interest in improving systems and processes
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
