Senior Business Analyst – StudentOne
Randstad Australia is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support our client in the higher education sector.
The role focuses on improving student administration processes (admissions, enrolment, finance) through data analysis, requirement gathering, solution design, stakeholder management, and system implementation within the Technology One ERP (StudentOne) platform.
Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas
Data & Process Analysis – analyse student data and existing workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and data-driven decisions.
Requirements Management – elicit, document, and verify business, stakeholder, and system requirements for changes or new features.
System Expertise – work within Technology One (StudentOne) to develop reports, dashboards, ETL processes, and support system functions.
Stakeholder Engagement – collaborate with university departments (Marketing, Admissions, IT, Finance) and leadership to align solutions with strategic goals.
Solution Design – design and develop process improvements using BPMN diagrams and functional specifications.
Project Support – assist with UAT, process automation, and ensure compliance with standards such as ESOS for international students.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation (BRDs, functional specifications).
Experience with ERP systems, particularly Technology One, and data analysis.
Stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.
