Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Ward. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong work ethic and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and contributing to the overall success of the ward.

Key Responsibilities
* Undertake acute nursing care in accordance with legislation
* Deliver evidence-based nursing care
* Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
* Ensure patient and staff safety
* Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and (AINs) to deliver patient care

Requirements
* Current registration with AHPRA as aRegistered Nurse
* Current valid Australian Work rights
* Demonstrated experience working within an acute surgical setting
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of quality improvement initiative using research principles to support evidence-based practice, including development of policies and guidelines.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a supportive team.
* Demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement individualised patient centred care
