Contract for an initial 12-months term with up to a maximum 24-months extension option with a Fed Govt Dept.Required SkillsDemonstrated experience in Oracle Database PL/SQL.Demonstrated experience in SmartIQ (Infinity/Intelledox).Demonstrated experience in Unix tools (Korn Shell scripts, AWK).Demonstrated experience in Oracle Application Express (APEX).Experience in design, develops, and maintains applications and databases using Oracle technologies.Experience in writing efficient SQL queries, creating stored procedures, optimising database performance, data integrity and security.Experience in Oracle Forms and Reporting.Working experience with Geospatial dataExperience in designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors complex programs/scripts and integration software services.ResponsibilitiesPerform and manage analysis, design, development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities.Solve complex problems and deliver high quality solutions.Perform high-level analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions.Undertake technical design and development of complex custom solutions, and/or standard conversion and migration solutions.Manage the release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance.Proactively share knowledge and expertise as the subject matter expert, and provide assistance and mentorship to less experienced staffVisa Status and Security ClearanceCandidates must be an Australian Citizen for this job.
