About Us
Norwest Private Hospital is operated by Healthscope, a prominent provider of private healthcare in Australia. With 277 beds, our facility is designed with our Intensive Care Unit to accommodate high acuity needs, complemented by a fully equipped Emergency Department situated in Bella Vista.
The Role
An exciting opportunity now exists for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Nurse Educator (SNE) to join the Quality and Education team at Norwest Private Hospital.
Your responsibilities will include planning hospital-wide education and support for clinical and support services staff, coordinating with the hospital education team and the student facilitation team, supporting the Graduate Coordinator with the graduate RN/EN nurse program, and coordinating hospital-wide orientation and mandatory training programs.
You will also be the learning management system site administrator and report area-specific and hospital-wide compliance, participating in continuous quality improvement and hospital accreditation.
Requirements
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Recent relevant and extensive experience in Acute Care setting
* Recent education experience in an adult learning environment
* Post-registration clinical and education qualification in a specialty area / education / management
* Certificate IV - Workplace Training and Assessment
* Demonstrated effective leadership skills including highly developed communication (written and verbal), problem solving, managing people, coaching, negotiation and influencing skills
* Demonstrate ability to coordinate, develop, deliver and evaluate education and training programs using multimodalities
* Understand the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Education evidence/requirements for Short Notice Assessments
