The Opportunity
Due to exponential growth, our Data & Analytics team is looking to hire Specialists to expand our advanced analytics, modelling, and digitised risk solution offerings in Australia. You will work closely with legal counterparts across the Risk Advisory practice to focus on how data and analytics can deliver a best‐in‐class legal‐led consulting service.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deploy analytical models to identify, quantify and manage risk across client organisations.
* Build tooling and digitised solutions that embed sustainable risk‐management capabilities within client operations.
* Leverage strategic data assets to model advanced analytics, codify business and regulatory rules to uncover, interpret and communicate data patterns, driving business value and managing risk.
* Support Partners, Directors and Executives in business‐development activities, including owning the creation of proposals to build the Ashurst Risk Advisory brand.
Qualifications
* Experienced consultant with demonstrated capability in advanced analytics, model development, or building digitised solutions to manage risk.
* 3‐4 years of experience in data analytics, data science, quantitative risk or client‐facing consulting within a major organisation or a respected consulting firm.
* Excited about using data and analytics to solve a diverse range of client problems with creative solutions, and assisting in the growth of a unique 'first‐to‐market' practice.
* Experience with Python, SQL, Alteryx, cloud platforms, PowerBI/Tableau, workflow automation, version control or data‐engineering platforms; equivalent toolsets accepted.
