We're on the hunt for someone awesome who can bring their A-game to our hospitality institution. If you're passionate about booze & want to be the life of the bar, then this gig is made for you!
Check out what you'll be doing:
1. You'll be my go-to person (working directly with the owner) making sure the venue runs like a well-oiled machine. From planning monthly events to managing our team of 10+, you'll be the one making it all happen.
2. Got ideas and plans you’ve always wanted to try out but weren’t allowed? We want you to come up with strategies that not only make our venue stand out but also make it rain in the revenue department.
3. Lead the charge by inspiring and motivating the team. You’ll be the role model, and we want you to create a work environment where everyone feels pumped and ready to go.
4. Keep an eye on our stuff. You’ll need to be somewhat handy, maintaining equipment, fixing issues that arise on busy nights.
5. Safety is no joke! You'll be responsible for enforcing safety and security protocols, making sure our guests, staff, and venue are always safe and sound.
6. Be the superhero of customer service we always want to exceed customer expectations.
7. How’s your math? You’ll need to crunch those numbers and analyze regular reports for our senior management, showing off the key performance indicators, financial metrics, and operational efficiency.
Here's what you'll need to bring to the table:
1. Personality is everything! We want someone who's been in the management game for at least 2 years, wowing guests and hopefully you’ve heard about us or you’re already a regular.
2. With your strong leadership skills, you can motivate and energize our team.
3. Multitasking, problem-solving, quick decision-making, and really good communication skills are essential.
4. Gotta be good with tech/tablets, have mastered Square and Xero, and know how to manage a thermal printer.
5. As VM, you have to be contactable. There’s 10+ people who might message you at any time. You're down for a flexible schedule, ready to rock evenings, weekends, and holidays like a true hospitality superstar.
6. A degree in hospitality management or a related field is a bonus, but what really matters to us is your awesome personality and hands-on experience.
That’s all for now, and to check you’ve read this, please write me an eye-catching cover letter detailing the worst customer you’ve had to deal with. Cheers!
