Our client is a leading manufacturer of quality timber doors, a family run business with decades of experience. A unique opportunity has become available to join their team in Campbellfield. As the CNC Operator you will play a crucial role in the production process, utilizing state-of-the-art machinery to shape and refine timber materials according to precise specifications.
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, no weekends.
Hours of work are generally 7:00am-3:30pm (negotiable)
**Responsibilities**:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish timber products.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in a timber workplace.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Knowledge of timber characteristics and properties.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
