Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience to over 10 million personal and small business customers. This role is a Senior Data Scientist within the EDB Pricing team, responsible for developing and managing predictive models that guide pricing decisions and leverage AI to improve customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the development and management of key modelling assets within the team, using state‑of‑the‑art data science techniques to improve business and customer outcomes.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML, including leading end‑to‑end modelling projects.
* Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML model development.
* Hands‑on experience with MLOps framework, CI/CD, version control, and model observability tools.
* Knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and data pipeline construction, ensuring efficient data flow and integration.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with great attention to details and data accuracy.
* Excellent communication, teamwork abilities, and motivation to master new skills.
* A relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Data Science, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
