We are seeking a reliable and skilled handyman with at least
3+ years experience
in maintenance, repair, and general building work. The successful candidate will be versatile, able to troubleshoot problems, and perform a wide range of tasks across carpentry, painting, tiling, flooring and general building maintenance. This role requires strong practical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across residential sites.
Carry out minor carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling, flooring repairs and general maintenance tasks.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and identify repair needs, providing practical solutions.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure work areas are clean and safe
Provide quality workmanship and complete jobs within agreed timeframes.
Communicate effectively with clients and employer
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or similar role.
Solid knowledge of general repair techniques and building maintenance practices.
Competence in using a wide range of tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious.
Driver's license and own tools (essential).
Additional Information
Offering 16-25 hours per week
The ability to progress to a permanent part-time or full-time role once the probation period has been completed
