About The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Automotive Locksmith to support the continued growth of its automotive division. This is a mobile role servicing Sydney, ideal for a motivated technician who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality outcomes for customers. You'll be provided with a modern, well-equipped company van, the latest key programming tools, and a strong daily job flow to support your success in the role.
Your Responsibilities & Duties
* Cutting and programming car keys (all makes and models preferred)
* Diagnosing and repairing automotive locking systems
* Non-destructive vehicle entry
* Replacing ignitions, door locks, and remotes
* Quoting customers and completing jobs professionally
* Maintaining tools, stock, and vehicle presentation
Your Skills & Experience
* 1–2+ years' experience as an Automotive Locksmith (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of transponders, key programming, and diagnostics
* Autel or SmartPro experience
* European vehicle experience
* EEPROM work
* Valid Australian driver's licence
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and problem-solve
