We're looking for a cool and confident Social Media superstar who likes to stay on trend and interact with passionate communities of like‑minded people. We want someone who thinks outside the box and has a creative flair for engaging content creation.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Working closely with the Social Media & Content Supervisor and Manager to deliver digital marketing executions across our growing Social Media channels
* Collaborating with other teams to ensure strategic alignment and achievement of common company-wide objectives
* Creating and scheduling engaging content for multiple Social Media channels across our two brands
* Conceptualising, shooting, and editing trending, on‑brand short‑form videos for social media.
* Coordinating, developing and delivering multi‑channel Social Media campaigns
* Moderating and interacting with our passionate pop culture and gaming communities
* Track, analyse and optimise key metrics like reach, engagement and traffic to drive platform growth
* Keeping a finger on the pulse with the latest pop culture and gaming news
* Assisting the production team with video and photography shoots
This full‑time role is based at our Store Support Centre in Eagle Farm, Brisbane. Applicants must either live in Brisbane or be willing to relocate for the role.
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you must have:
* 2 years+ experience in a Social Media Role
* Experience with Social Media scheduling tools and moderating channels
* A strong understanding of Social Media, Platform Updates and Internet Culture
* Experience in video and static content creation via digital tools (eg. Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
* Experience in front of and behind a camera
* Strong organisational & time management skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced team environment
* Flexibility to work concurrently across a diverse range of projects
* A passion for everything pop culture and gaming
The following would be advantageous (but not required):
* Experience with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and InDesign
