Job Summary
The Ancillary Assistant will work as part of a non-clinical services team, taking direction from relevant staff and coordinators/supervisors. The role involves performing tasks allocated to the position, assisting with patient transport and maintaining a safe environment within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate in accordance with industry best practice standards for patient transfer and equipment movement.
* Work closely with other support services team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient service.
* Participate in change management initiatives and adapt to new procedures as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* A background or experience in waste management is essential.
* Excellent communication skills are necessary for written and verbal interactions.
* Ability and willingness to participate in training and education to improve skills for the position.
