The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of civil engineering experience, particularly in water infrastructure projects, with a focus on design management. About the Logan Water Partnership Join WSP’s Water Group working on the Logan Water Partnership, one of Australia’s largest and most innovative water infrastructure programs in Brisbane, Queensland. This long-term public-private alliance with Logan City Council delivers sustainable water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure to support a growing community. The partnership focuses on network planning, engineering design, and program management for key projects like treatment plants, reservoirs, and pump stations. Notable innovations include Queensland’s first environmentally sustainable wastewater treatment plant and advanced solar-powered chlorination and biosolids gasification facilities. Your new role – what’s involved? * Lead and manage water infrastructure projects within the Logan Water Partnership. * Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams. * Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Civil design development and delivery across the full project lifecycle, ensuring technically high-standard outputs. * Production and review of concise, high-quality technical documentation. * Design and/or design management of a range of projects or program work packages. * Contribute to the design team to enhance client satisfaction and exceed expectations. * Collaborate on large-scale, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and programs. What you'll bring: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * 5–10+ years of relevant experience in water infrastructure. * Experience in detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure, particularly pipelines and pump stations. * Proven design management experience. * Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) desirable. * Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and WSAA codes. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
