AUSTCORP is seeking a skilled and experienced Asphalt QA for a family-owned Asphalt Business in the Northern Suburbs
Responsibilities
Keeping clear and accurate records of completed works
Checking installations are done correctly and meet required standards
Logging materials, quantities, and labour used
Reviewing and approving work completed by crews and subcontractors
Record site activities and completed works on a daily basis
Confirm works are installed in line with drawings, specifications, and company requirements
Log materials used, quantities, and installation locations
Monitor and record hours worked by crews and subcontractors
Obtain approval and sign-off for completed works where required
Complete daily quality checks, photos, and supporting records
Ensure all site and QA documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time
Identify, report, and follow up on any non-compliant work or discrepancies
Communicate with supervisors, foremen, and management regarding site records and compliance
Qualifications
Background in asphalt or civil construction (on-site experience essential)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Comfortable recording works live on site
Confident assessing completed work and raising issues when needed
Clear written communication and basic administrative capability
Able to work independently and reliably
White Card
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Ability to use mobile devices or tablets for reporting and photos
Strong English skills (written and spoken)
