You will be responsible for providing general administrative tasks, registering and data inputting of Queensland Civil & Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) applications, photocopying, file preparation and assisting with front counter and telephone enquiries from the public.
As an Administrative Officer you may be required to work across Tribunal and Registry Services (TARS), Civil, Administrative and Disciplinary (CAD) Division or the Human Rights Division (HuRD).
You Will
Undertake accurate computer-based processing and data entry using QCAT's file management systems and recording programs.
Prepare and update documents using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Effectively and efficiently manage the needs of clients and the public by using appropriate questioning, problem solving, negotiation and conflict management skills.
Prioritise tasks in a fast paced and high-volume environment to ensure customer service standards and timeframes are met, and to ensure effective hearing support services are provided.
Undertake safe and secure handling of hard copy records, including files and folders across tribunal hearing rooms and offices.
Provide accurate information to registry staff and tribunal members in a professional and friendly manner.
Provide general administrative tasks as required by team leaders and/or managers to support the delivery of services within QCAT.
Undertake other tasks and duties as required to assist in or support the delivery of services within QCAT.
Applications to remain current for 12 months.
