NT Link is welcoming applications for the position of Transport Coordinator based either in our Alice Springs or Darwin office.
Ideal Candidate For This Role
Suitable candidates will have extensive experience in roles requiring consistent communication and collaboration across all levels of an organisation, and in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Must be self-motivated, with a strong drive to work on multiple tasks and achieve targets within tight deadlines. A strong attention to detail is critical, as is being comfortable using multiple systems and platforms (including Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, accounting software, and safety/asset management systems).
A minimum of three years’ experience within Finance or Senior Administration roles is essential; experience within a Logistics business would be an advantage. A current driver’s licence is essential, and candidates must have valid, permanent working rights for Australia.
Suitable candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment assessments, including a National Police Check.
We are open to both Part-time and Full-time applicants. This role can be performed in 30 hours per week (part-time). Full-time applicants will also undertake general business, project administration, and office tasks as required.
The Role
The Transport Coordinator is responsible for providing a diverse range of compliance-related administrative activities to the Logistics Department.
Key Areas Of Responsibility Include
Ensuring the business completes ongoing and recurring activities related to the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) and Fatigue Management compliance, including assisting in the preparation of information for the Annual Audit.
Completion of necessary permits and registrations for all business fleet/vehicles.
Ensuring all fleet/vehicle registrations are up to date in advance.
Coordinating Purchase Orders for the Logistics team as required.
Completing regular reporting, system and spreadsheet updates, and collaborating with the team to ensure accuracy of information.
Conducting quarterly internal checks to ensure all records are up to date and providing feedback to the Logistics Manager on progress.
Providing EA support to the Directors and other senior Executives as required.
This role is a senior operational team member and requires working autonomously while ensuring all stakeholders are supported and engaged as needed.
