$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813) pro rata, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading pro-rata)

About the role
We're seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Aged Care and Disability students.
This is a permanent part-time position, working 2 days per week (14 hours). The specific days of work will be course dependent and may vary based on delivery requirements. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires travel across the Upper Hunter region to support training delivery.
As a TAFE Teacher, you will share your industry expertise and passion to help students build the skills, confidence, qualifications, and employability needed to achieve their career goals. TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help construct, guide, and enhance the learning process.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality educational programs and facilitate learning in Aged Care and Disability, enabling students to achieve strong outcomes. You will provide flexible and engaging learning experiences, undertake assessment and evaluation, maintain industry and teaching currency, and contribute to a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that reflects best practice in vocational education and training.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will:
* Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a minimum Certificate IV in Ageing Support or Disability or above OR Bachelor of Nursing (minimum) and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously. OR post-qualification experience in Ageing care as a Registered Nurse, gained no longer than five years ago
* Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
* Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
