About the Opportunity
* We require individuals who can apply various horticultural practices such as planting, pruning, weeding, fertilising, and propagating.
* Maintaining garden beds, landscape features, and plant collections is an essential part of this role.
* Operating light mechanical equipment like brush cutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, spray equipment, rotary hoes, chainsaws is also required.
* The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with irrigation and drainage maintenance.
* General cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of park infrastructure will also be a key aspect of the job.
* Safe working practices on or near roads when required are crucial.
* This role requires collaboration with the broader horticulture team to complete daily tasks and seasonal priorities.
* Ongoing structured training toward a nationally recognised qualification is provided.
