Program Assistant Educator Role
We are seeking Casual Assistant Educators to join our Out of Hours Care program for services in the Southeast. This is an exciting opportunity to not only gain valuable work experience, but to really make the role your own by bringing your infectious energy in delivering a unique, inclusive and fun-filled play-based programs to school age children.
Our team is committed to outcome-focused care for children, families and individuals. As well as tailored support services for individuals and families, we provide a varied scope of services to support disadvantaged and vulnerable people.
This is an ideal position for those who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing exciting and engaging activities for school aged children. You will be working with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities, helping them to develop their social and emotional skills through play-based learning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning, preparing and delivering innovative play-based learning activities that cater for diverse needs and interests
* Develop professional working relationships with families, school leaders and other stakeholders in the school community
* Maintain excellent health, safety and wellbeing of children at all times
Requirements:
* Diploma / Certificate III qualified in Early Childhood Education or enrolled and working towards
* Currently completing your Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood Education or Physical Education
* Hold a valid Working with Children's Check and Victorian Drivers' Licence
* Have relevant First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004)
* Understand the National Quality Framework and its requirements
