Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Project Planner based in Perth in a permanent role for our client who are an established but growing organisation in the Power Transmission & Distribution sector.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating, building, and managing schedules across major projects.

Responsibilities:

* Develop, build, and maintain detailed project schedules using relevant software.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather necessary project information and incorporate it into comprehensive schedules.
* Ensure schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with project goals and deadlines.
* Regularly update project schedules to reflect current project status, progress, and any changes.
* Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays or issues, and proactively suggest corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate records of schedule changes and ensure all stakeholders are informed of updates.
* Prepare and present schedule reports, including progress updates, critical path analysis, and forecasts.
* Facilitate regular schedule review meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
* Provide clear and concise communication to ensure all parties are aware of schedule status and any potential impacts on project timelines.
* Identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential impacts on project timelines.
* Work closely with project teams to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts.
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve scheduling processes and tools.

Required Experience:

* Proven experience in creating, building, and managing project schedules using MS Project and Primavera P6.
* Previous experience in the schedule creation and management across the lifecycle of major projects.
* Strong understanding of scheduling principles and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse project teams.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proactive and self-motivated with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

* No specific qualifications are required for this role however any relevant industry trainings or qualifications would be beneficial.
