The Role
As a key member of the administrative team, you will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to provide educational leadership both within the school and the broader community. Your primary focus will be on developing and promoting the school's vision and Business Plan targets, encouraging active participation from school staff, community volunteers, and other stakeholders, all within the context of Health and Physical Education (HPE) learning area.
In your capacity as a curriculum leader, you will play an important role in providing professional guidance to HPE teachers, ensuring that they stay informed on relevant curriculum updates, best practice in their classes and implement the whole school PERMAH framework. You will be instrumental in facilitating teaching and learning outcomes, employing effective performance management strategies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among the school's academic community.
A key aspect of your role will involve implementing change management strategies to lead the school community in accepting and developing opportunities for improved service within the HPE Learning Area. Your contributions will extend to the collaborative implementation of the 2024-2026 Business Plan, Learning Area Operational Plan and whole school instructional framework. You will play a key role in decision‐making, policy development, and the establishment of necessary systems at a whole school level.

Eligibility
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
* obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
