About the role
Omega Electric & Power Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team in Springvale, VIC. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our electrical engineering projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Working closely with our engineering team, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of our electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
* Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
* Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical, solar and energy systems.
* Conduct inspections, fault finding and diagnostic testing of electrical equipment.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and safety regulations.
* Prepare technical reports, documentations, and maintenance records.
* Liaise with engineers, electricians, and project managers to ensure project delivery.
* Assist in upgrading and optimising electrical systems for energy efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required
* Relevant qualification AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma.
* 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role may substitute for a formal qualification.
* Robust knowledge of electrical systems, testing methods, and compliance standards.
* Functional English.
* 1 years minimum experience.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
