Rubies Nursing Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to support clients in aged care, disability, and community settings. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and working collaboratively with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support clients to achieve and maintain wellbeing and independence in accordance with individual support plans and the Active Service Model
· Deliver the highest possible standard of home and community care services as determined by assessed support plans
· Undertake personal assistance and respite tasks to promote client independence and social inclusion
· Adhere at all times to Rubies Nursing Care policies, procedures, and quality standards
· Provide responsive, non-judgmental, and professional customer service to clients and carers
· Submit accurate and timely records of work performed using electronic monitoring systems
· Report variations to scheduled tasks and timeframes in line with service communication and monitoring protocols
· Monitor, report, and respond to changes in client wellbeing, including opportunities to enhance independence and social participation
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and staff development activities as directed by the Team Leader, Aged and Disability Services
· Perform other duties within the scope of skills, competence, and training as required
Skills and Experience Required:
· Certificate III in Community Services (HACC) or equivalent
· Demonstrated experience supporting aged persons and/or people with disabilities
· Minimum of 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience
· Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
· Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
· Background checks including a National Police Check and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
