This position is based in Townsville and works in a small team that supports the Regional Director as well as the regional offices located in Mackay, Mount Isa, Townsville and Cairns. It is responsible for coordinating executive correspondence, projects and activities designed to enhance the capacity of the service delivery network to deliver the highest level of service to people in housing need.
What you will be doing:
• Coordinate and undertake a range of operational projects including research and analysis of information and the recommendation of options to optimise the effectiveness of work practices.
• Undertake research and analysis to develop and inform effective work practices in the areas of HR, financial management and corporate governance.
• Provide timely, high quality advice and support to the Regional Director and Housing Service Centre.
• Prepare reports, including monthly performance, budget and establishment and correspondence on a diverse range of issues as required.
• Build and maintain productive working relationships and networks within the region.
• Participate in regional forums and team discussions, sharing information and working collaboratively to achieve the strategic and operational objectives of the service stream.
• Lead and ensure you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
