SF Peopleisworking with a reputable client in the industrial transport sector. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join their leadership team! This is a chance to join the organisation and play a key role in maintaining existing sales relationships, while developing and expanding into new markets within a dynamic industrial business.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving and overseeing revenue growth through conversion of inbound opportunities, strategic key account management, and planning and executing on targeted growth opportunities. Key activities also include disciplined pipeline management, leading the team in product knowledge expertise, and strengthening customer relationships and market presence.
The Sales Manager will ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience from first engagement through to delivery and ongoing partnership and work closely with technical, engineering, marketing and operations teams.
This role will manage a small team and be involved directly in sales and growth activities, being accountable for individual contribution and team performance, and overseeing individual and team targets.
RELEVANT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Proven experience working at a Sales Manager, Sales Director, or similar level role.
* Strong track record in B2B, industrial, manufacturing, or technical sales environments.
* Exceptional customer service for both internal and external stakeholders and customers with the ability to work with technical and operational stakeholders.
* Keen commercial acumen with the ability to identify, pursue and execute sales and growth opportunities.
* Competent discussing and scoping technical requirements in partnership with technical sales and engineering specialists.
* Demonstrated success in managing inbound opportunities, managing sales pipelines, key account management and developing long-term B2B relationships.
* Strong people manager with experience leading and mentoring salespeople and teams.
* Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
* Qualifications in Business, Economics, Technical or a related discipline (preferred, but not essential).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
* This is a full time permanent role.
* The salary package for this role is made up of base salary + superannuation + vehicle allowance + commission scheme.
* Salary for the role is negotiable based on the successful candidate's skills, experience, qualifications and fit for the role.
* Head office base in Western suburbs of Brisbane with some additional travel required.
* On-site visits to manufacturing areas will be required in this role.
* Some occasional work-based travel will be required.
