Join the iconic team at Darrell Lea – Australia's beloved confectionery brand – as our next Site Quality Manager. In this key leadership role, you'll ensure our sweet treats meet the highest standards in food safety, quality, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead site compliance with food safety programs (BRC, HACCP) and major retailer standards (Aldi, Coles, Costco, etc.)
* Manage external audits, regulatory compliance (FSANZ, FDA, UK, Canada), and site certifications
* Maintain quality systems, documentation, and oversee traceability and recall programs
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support NPD, and mitigate production risks
* Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team to foster a strong food safety culture
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Technology, or related field
* 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality roles, with demonstrated leadership experience & capability
* Deep knowledge of HACCP, BRC, GFSI schemes, and global food regulations
* Experience with sustainability frameworks (Sedex, APCO, RA)
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
