The Role
As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. You will work independently across multiple client sites, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, servicing, and maintenance of refrigeration systems
* Fault‐finding and reactive breakdown repairs
* Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
* Working on a range of commercial refrigeration equipment, including cold rooms, pack systems, display cabinets, fridges, and freezers
* Completing service reports and job documentation accurately
* Ensuring all work complies with health & safety standards
* Representing the company professionally on client sites
About You
* Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer
* F‐Gas Category 1 certification (essential)
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
* Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
* Full UK driving licence
* Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively
* Professional, customer‐focused approach
