A Melbourne organisation with a busy events calendar is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to cover maternity leave. This is a 15-16 month contract with an immediate start. The timing makes this role interesting. The business is nearly through a significant ERP migration to Microsoft Business Central, going live in June. That means you'll come in during a critical window - hands‐on with the transition - before stepping into a broader remit once the dust settles. You'll manage two direct reports (a senior accountant and an assistant accountant), and partner with stakeholders across every department and up to GM and Executive level. It's a mix of financial control, forward‐looking FP&A and business partnering.

What you'll need:
* CA or CPA
* 8+ years in accounting, with at least 4 in a similar management role
* Solid people management experience - you know how to delegate clearly and develop a team
* Proven experience and genuine comfort with stakeholder engagement at all levels
* Experience with systems integrations or ERP migrations. Business Central would be beneficial but not a must.
* A background in events, hospitality, or similar.
