About the Role:
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead the People function across the organisation's largest national Brisbane based sites, employing over a large employee head count.
Reporting to the Operations Director, with a dotted line to the CPO, you will lead a 15-person HR team, and working closely with the site and regional leaders, in a complex commercial business environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leadership of an established team, uplifting the HR function.
* Building line manager capability in labour planning, shift rosters, workforce productivity, performance, and retention.
* Leading industrial relations, including EBA negotiations, award interpretation, union engagement, and governance and compliance.
* Overseeing onboarding, training, and workforce planning for a diverse, multicultural workforce.
* Acting as a trusted partner to operational leaders in a high-volume, dynamic, blue collar site-based environment.
About You:
You will be an accomplished HR leader with:
* Strong experience in HR Management or Senior HR Management leadership roles within manufacturing, FMCG, or large-scale industrial operations.
* Proven expertise in industrial relations, EBAs, and union engagement.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and grow large HR teams in complex, high-pressure environments.
* A pragmatic, commercially focused, and calm leadership style, with the maturity to bring stability and influence stakeholders.
* Experience working with highly diverse, multicultural workforces.
